Background
Despite the proliferation of ChatGPT, many salespeople do not use AI in their everyday workflow. Existing AI sales solutions over-promise and under-deliver, focusing on the wrong sales workflows: workflows that either are innately human or where even if AI got good, buyers would adjust.
Sales does not need another AI SDR.
The best salespeople will use AI to assist on routine admin tasks in their daily work, becoming rapidly more efficient and able to focus even more on the human elements of the job. Prepping for calls, drafting follow-up emails, summarizing meeting notes—all of these are things AI is actually good at and don’t remove the necessary human element of sales.

Existing Sales AI tools have one overarching efficacy problem and two related accessibility issues. On the efficacy front, existing sales AI tools are focused on the wrong workflows that AI either isn’t good at or if AI got good at, buyers would adjust. On the accessibility front, existing AI tools are either latched on features to existing legacy platforms or the “right” ways to use AI for everyday admin tasks are buried inside of a larger aspirational “AI sales platform.”
